Meet our Trustees

With over 48 years in the insurance and financial services industry, Mark has built a career rich in experience and impact. He began in front-line claims across all major non-marine (re)insurance classes—including property, casualty, and professional risks—and went on to hold operational and regulatory roles within a Managing Agency. He served on multiple Lloyd’s Committees, founding the NMA Claims and Catastrophe Committees, chairing parts of them, and contributing to the development of the original ECF system. Mark later founded one of the UK’s pioneering outsourced claims management firms—still highly respected in the sector—and went on to co-found strategic marketing agencies helping clients define their propositions, build brand value, and strengthen reputational equity. Since 2018, he has focused on advisory consultancy—supporting business growth, reputation, and mentoring senior leaders. In 2017, Mark became a Freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs (now the Company of Entrepreneurs), serving as Master in 2023/24 and now as Immediate Past Master.
